McKenzie delivers a passionate assessment of Dubois’ performance, praising the heavyweight champion’s patience, punch selection, devastating jab and the improvements he has made under trainer Don Charles. Duke explains why he believes Wardley was still carrying the psychological scars from his first encounter with Dubois and says the fight could have been stopped after the opening round. Concerned about the punishment Wardley has absorbed across the two fights, McKenzie says he would personally advise him to consider walking away from boxing with his health and wealth intact. Turning his attention to Dubois, McKenzie describes the current version of the heavyweight as being “in a league of his own” and believes his increased patience and boxing intelligence have made him an even more dangerous fighter. Duke also discusses potential future fights for Dubois, including Filip Hrgovic, Oleksandr Usyk and the winner of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua. He reveals that Tyson Fury is the fight he would particularly like to see next and backs Dubois to cause major problems for either British heavyweight. McKenzie also praises the influence of Don Charles, discusses the possibility of another fight with Usyk and compares Dubois’ devastating heavyweight power to a modern-day Sonny Liston.
